Alison Doody
Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Her birth date was November 11, 1966. Following her film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to play an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte as Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody began modelling after being approached by a professional photographer. The result was a successful modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was determined to steer clear of glamour and nude roles, this was the principle she applied in her acting. Later, she guest-starred in the RTE the medical drama The Clinic. She was scheduled to also appear in the remake of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November of 2018, she received the Almeria the tierra de cine prize as well as an award in the Almeria Walk of Fame.
